I actually know every girl's obsession. It is
all to do with volume and smoothness as well as being gentle to the touch. And
if a girl wants to achieve that, she would need something with a little EGO…
I've found every one of these qualities in one
superb UK brand that combines in its name all the playfulness that should be
associated with beautiful hair. EGO Professional was founded by Kala
Kilshaw-Laing, an extraordinary businesswoman who recognised the need for
professional electrical tools that put the magic into our hair and into our
lives.
Bring
Back the Blow Dry is a national campaign that my
Neville salon, in partnership with EGO Professional, was more than happy to
participate in, as it's so close to what my brand is all about. My salon has
been the blow-dry mecca and the first stop for blow-dried couture hair for many
stylish London women, royalty and celebrities alike. It seemed only natural for
us to celebrate National Blow Dry Day with EGO at our Belgravia headquarters on
28th July 2014 – with many special ladies in attendance.
The entire second floor at Neville's was
transformed into hosting and welcoming the guests, who came to experience those
magic-blown hairdos as well to learn more about EGO Professional gadgets that
not only dry the hair effectively but also ensure that moisture is retained,
giving frizz-free and glossy results. My top stylists created a succession of head-turning
blow dries, something that they masterfully do every day in all my salons
around the world.
What was extra special on this National Blow Dry
Day in conjunction with EGO Professional was that all the proceeds were donated
to the Macmillan Cancer Support, the amazing organisation that is so close to
our hearts.
It was truly a day when the heart and the beauty
came together in the most subtle fashion and where we all invested a little bit
of what we do the best.
As for some final words of beauty wisdom, I can
only proclaim that the BLOW-DRY is really and truly BACK, just as EGO (Every
Girl Obsession) Professional suggested all along.
